The Voice Behind The Wall is a conscientious examination of the Afrikaans music industry and the racial imbalances that still persist almost 30 years since the abolishment of Apartheid. Despite the fact that the Afrikaans language was used to champion white supremacy in a system of institutionalized racial segregation known as Apartheid, its origins lay within the brown communities of Southern Africa. This documentary exposes the cultural appropriation of Afrikaans by the white elite and delves into the disastrous state of the post-Apartheid Afrikaans music industry, where the erasure of brown contributions to the Afrikaans culture is still perpetuated. In this film Churchil Naudé, exceptional poet and rapper, stands as a surrogate for a whole community of ignored artists, whose voices are now oppressed by the very same media industry that was guilty of using it’s powerful platform to further the white cause during one of the world's worst crimes against humanity. These voices , a whole community of voices behind the wall.

This Afrikaans film was inspired by true events. A young man battling mental illness decides to take his own life. On his way to jump off the Bloukrans bridge, he spends one last night at the family holiday home. When he eventually gets to stand on the bridge, about to meet his fate, he hears a woman laughing... It is the beginning of a weekend that changes three lives: A young woman, her frail mother, and the young man discover a universal language of truth.
Meet Hanna, a teenage girl, and her unconventional family. Her mother is a painter; her father Gavin is a gay fashion designer; her stepfather Beyers is a seasoned actor and the father of Hanna's half-brother Tibo. Then there are 8-year-old Amos and 16-year-old Yann, compliments of Beyers and his ex-wife Margot. Hanna creates imaginary characters, a reflection of her alter ego and a family the total opposite of her own. Hanna's mother and stepfather take the family on their delayed honeymoon, which turns into a series of events, mishaps and family bonding. They end up stranded in a old country house with nowhere to go and no one else to turn to but one another.
Riku Lätti het die musiek gecomponeer vir Jans Rautenbach se laaste film, Abraham (2015). Die film word deur Daniel Dercksen beskryf as One of the best South African films ever made.

This is a story set in a beautiful, little-known part of rural South Africa. It centers around a man who lives in abject poverty. He has a native talent as a sculptor which he tries to exploit to earn enough money to feed his family. To say any more would mean spoilers.
